Arthur Kay wins RWM/ CIWM award.


RWM is Europe’s premier event for resource efficiency and waste management solutions. It is the only event of its kind, asked for by the industry, covering all aspects of the waste hierarchy. The three day event features over 700 exhibitors, workshops, talks and 13,000 visitors.


bio-bean’s CEO, Arthur Kay won the RWM Resource Manager of the Future award. The award was from the ‘Rising Stars’ competition which celebrates trailblazing initiatives that challenge the way the recycling industry works, identifying the top newcomers and inspiring a new generation of resource managers. Arthur Kay presented bio-bean in the Energy from Waste Theatre at RWM 2015.


Barry Dennis, Chair of RWM, said: “All the entries to RWM’s first ever Rising Stars competition were of an exceptionally high standard. Arthur Kay stood out for the significant impact bio-bean has had in such a short time, as well as its potential for growth. Arthur sees the challenges of urbanisation as opportunities, and is inspiring others to view waste as a resource.”
